On January 24th, 2023, Shopify has sent an email to their customers that they’re increasing price of their monthly subscriptions. Here is the before/after comparison of Shopify prices:

Old prices:

• Basic: $29 per month

• Shopify: $79 per month

• Advanced: $299 per month

New prices:

• Basic: $32 per month

• Shopify: $92 per month

• Advanced: $399 per month

% increase:

• Basic: 10% increase

• Shopify: 32.91% increase

• Advanced: 33.44% increase

If you subscribe to a yearly plan, you’ll get 25% off, but it will still be more than the current plan.

All in all, Shopify increased its pricing by around 25%, making it more appealing to subscribe to the yearly plan.
